Kasuri, meaning “to blur” is a method of creating patterns in cloth through a dye process whereby threads are bound or resisted before the dyeing. Similar to Ikat, the textiles are woven with fibers that have been dyed explicitly in order to create geometric patterns and images in the fabric.
